Travel events 2024
ITB Berlin, 5-7th March
Location: Messe Berlin
Event Description: 24,000 attendees, 400 speakers, 5,500 exhibitors from 170 countries and territories, ITB is the World’s Leading Travel Trade Show.
Earlier this year the team attended ITB in Berlin. Spanning over 3 days the team were able to gain insights into travel technology, digital innovation and the future of travel tech.
With this year’s motto being ‘Pioneer the Transition in Travel & Tourism. Together’ it's no surprise that the biggest takeaways were around AI (Artificial Intelligence). There was a particular focus on how AI is optimising operational processes alongside improving customer experience with personalisation. Conversations still remained around covid and how the travel industry has evolved since. With many providers pivoting to offer more sustainable travel options and also turning to AI to do this.
Travel Tech Show, 19-20th June
Location: London, Excel arena
Event Description: Featuring over 10,000 attendees, 300 speakers, and 1,200 exhibitors from 100 countries and territories, Travel Tech Show 2024 is a premier event in the travel technology industry.
The team will be exhibiting at Travel Tech Show 2024. Spanning over two exciting days, we look forward to meeting with likeminded digital innovation enthusiasts in the travel industry. We’ll be demonstrating how UBIO’s technology has been powering leaders like Google, trivago, Kiwi.com and Travelperk. Come and meet us on the day at stand M34.
WTM, 5-7th November
Location: London, Excel arena
Event Description: This year marks the 44th year of WTM, expecting over 40,000 professionals from 184 countries.
Job board events 2024
Job Boards Connect: Unplugged, 16th May
Location: London
Event Description: An informal but insightful conference connecting the job board community.
A day of discussions that gave the team a lot to think about. As exhibitors at Job Boards Connect the team were able to connect with leaders in the job board industry providing them with a demonstration on how we’re supporting leaders in the industry.
This event gave us some great information on emerging trends in job board technology. Subjects covered included AI and machine learning, alternative revenue streams, optimising brand strategy to be competitive and innovations in technology which improves candidate journey. Attending JBC has enabled our team to better support and understand our job board prospects who turn to UBIO to improve candidate journeys with onsite application.
